8 weeks in Belgium
My first overland trip was from Germany to Belgium. The only memory i had was riding in a big coach with huge window, it was a scenic route.
i spent 3 weeks in a student house in the heart of Ghent. It was here that i ate cheese and yougart for the first time in my life!
i spent the following month with new experience - We nine girls (seven nationalities) and a very old van tried to find our own way in a very small town. The first night we pulled into a camping park and slept in the tents! The second night we ended up in somebody's field for whatever reason i do not remembered; and at wee hour in the morning a cow tried to get into the tent! Having heard our odeal, a very kind family in the neighbourhood opened their home for the nine of us. Needless to say we were very grateful that they came to our rescue.

United Kingdom
Spending the last two weeks in London was very different then my first visit to the United Kingdom!
It was spring when I arrived in Sunderland.
The weather was gloomy and cold. One morning i woke up shivering. It was so cold I thought my pillow had turned into a block of ice. I remembered the room was filled with the fragrance of the roses, maybe that's why I had such sweet memories of my visit there.
